1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using BizBook ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

BizBook provides comprehensive business tax management and compliance services including but not limited to:

• Business income and expense tracking
• Tax estimation and calculation tools
• Invoice generation and management
• Document storage and management
• Email delivery of tax documents
• Financial reporting and analytics

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate and current
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. KYC and Compliance Requirements

Due to the financial nature of our services, we are required to collect Know Your Customer (KYC) information including:

• Personal identification documents
• Proof of address
• Tax identification numbers (SARS tax number)
• Banking information for payment processing
• Business registration details (if operating as a business)

You agree to provide accurate and complete KYC information and understand that failure to do so may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Data Protection and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal and financial information. Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You acknowledge that:

• We collect, process, and store your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws
• Your financial and tax data is encrypted and stored securely
• We may share your information with SARS and other regulatory bodies as required by law
• You have rights regarding your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy

6. Payment Terms and Billing

Our services are provided on a subscription basis with the following terms:

• Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected
• Payment is due in advance of each billing period
• We offer a free trial period for new users
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Failure to pay may result in service suspension

7. Tax Compliance and Legal Obligations

While BizBook provides tools to assist with business tax compliance, you acknowledge that:

• You remain solely responsible for your tax obligations as a freelancer
• We do not provide tax advice or guarantee tax compliance
• You should consult with a qualified tax professional for complex matters
• We may be required to report certain information to SARS as required by law
• You are responsible for ensuring all generated documents and calculations are accurate
• You must maintain proper records of all income and expenses for tax purposes

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to our Service or related systems

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice
• Suspend service for emergency maintenance
• Modify or discontinue features with notice
• Suspend accounts for violations of these Terms

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BizBook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BizBook and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
